Customer Installation Guidelines.

To ensure uninterrupted pressure of water, it is advisable to keep the pipelines straight with minimum number of bends, which will support smooth flow of water.

  • All the supply lines must have vent pipes. These vent pipes help in removing air-locking in the water supply to give a smooth flow of water from the fittings.
  • Use 25mm pipeline rather than 20mm which will help in overcoming scaling inside the pipelines and will allow sufficient space for the water to flow.
  • Prior to plastering or fixing tiles, test the working of all the installed concealed fitting on the high pressure to check for leakage insert, if any.
  • Place the outlet point in the overhead tank at least 25cm above the ground level of tank. This will prevents the flow of foreign particles and sands etc. along with water supply into the fittings and thereby prevent the possible damage to the working parts. Clean the tank thoroughly before the supply starts. It is suggested that the overhead tank must be cleaned at regular intervals to avoid inflow of foreign particles.
  • To protect the fine finish of fitting from the dirt, stains and other damages during construction, cover them with cloth or polythene after their installation, till they come into actual use.
  • While cleaning the faucets after installation, do not use abrasive cleansers, as they may damage the faucets’ surface. Use warm water and liquid detergent to clean the faucets.
  • Supply pipes should be provided with vent pipes to prevent air locking in pipes.
  • Grafdoer is not liable or shall not be responsible for any such damage or for improper installation.
  • Pressure pump must be required for better flow in Faucets in those model:
  • Status
  •  Diane
  •  Kitchen Faucets
  •  Sensor Faucets

Do not over tighten the faucet to the Wall / wash basin.

Care and Maintenance

  • Clean the aerators provided in the items at regular intervals for a perfect foam flow of water from the fittings.
  • Clean the fitting regularly with normal soap or chalk powder to remove scaling or stains . Do not use strong detergents as this may cause damage to the chromium finish used on all Grafdoer products.
  • Do not use harsh cleaning agents containing abrasives and acids. Instead, use a soft sponge or wet cloth with soapy water or diluted vinegar to protect the color coated finish.
  • Use a soft, dampened sponge or cloth to clean. never use abrasive material like a bristle brush or scouring pad.
